A short film & music video directed by Mpumelelo Mcata for the band Motèl Mari, of which he is also a member - it’s a song taken from “Eternal Peasant” (2012) their debut LP, exploring nostalgia, loss & isolation in the big city, while finding peace with one’s ghosts, as well as the will to overcome the painful yearning inherent in being trapped within a capitalist system that leaves so little room for love.
